Some features of the GoPetition website require that cookies and JavaScript are enabled in your browser. The privacy setting for cookies should be on medium high (or lower). The following Instructions will explain how to enable cookies and JavaScript in your browser. To ensure JavaScript and cookies are enabled, try these steps:

Cookies: Do you have cookies disabled? Cookies are required for some of the GoPetition pages. We need to store cookies (small text files on your computer) to assist us in user authentication. If your browser is not set to allow cookies, GoPetition cookies will be rejected. Please ensure cookies are enabled for your preferred Web browser:

Internet Explorer - If you use Internet Explorer, please adjust your security settings to allow cookies. In Windows, just go to your control panel, Security tab, then click on Internet Options, Privacy tab to make the changes to allow cookies. Your privacy setting for cookies on your computer should be on medium to medium high (or lower).

Firefox - If you use Firefox as your preferred browser then go to your browser menu and select Tools, then Options, then go to the Privacy tab. In the Privacy Tab, you should select "Remember History" or, if you have custom settings, make sure you accept cookies from sites.

Chrome - If you use Chrome then go to the spanner menu, go to Options, Under the Hood tab, click Content Settings, and then select radio = Allow local data to be set. Please also uncheck "Block all third-party cookies". If you do block cookies from sites, then please allow GoPetition as an exception.

JavaScript: If you have JavaScript disabled, please follow instructions listed below to enable JavaScript. Internet Explorer 5 and later:

1. Click Tools, then click on Internet Options.

2. Click the Security tab.

3. Click the Custom Level button.

4. Scroll to the Scripting section. Under Active scripting, Allow paste operations via script, and Scripting of Java applets, check Enable.

5. Click OK button.

Other browsers: To see if your browser supports JavaScript, and for detailed instructions about how to enable this feature, see the online Help for your browser.
