Joining or login difficulties. Email address or proposed password not accepted?

Please make sure that you are using your correct email address and password. You may have mis-spelt your email address and/or password. If you mis-spelt your password (but have a correct email address) you can recover you password  here. If you mis-spelt your email address you will receive an error that you are not registered. You can either try to guess the mis-spelt email address to log in or create a new account with the correct email address. If you cannot access your uploaded petition on your account and you believe you may have mis-spelt your login email address, then please contact us and send us the name of your petition. 


In summary, please make sure that you are using the correct login (email address) and password (if you have password problems  click here). You may have joined GoPetition with an old email address that you have forgotten, or you may have mis-spelt your email address. You must use the correct login (email address) and password. You may wish to try several of your alternate or older email addresses to discover your lost login email address. Or you may need to guess your mis-spelt email address (see above).


Some log-in or sign up difficulties may occur because of cookie problems. Please make sure cookies are enabled in your preferred browser. 


Internet Explorer: If you use Internet Explorer, please adjust your security settings to allow cookies. In Windows, just go to your control panel, Security tab, then click on Internet Options, Privacy tab to make the changes to allow cookies. Your privacy setting for cookies on your computer should be on medium to medium high (or lower). 


Firefox: If you use Firefox as your preferred browser then go to your browser menu and select Tools, then Options, then go to the Privacy tab. In the Privacy Tab, you should select "Remember History" or, if you have custom settings, make sure you accept cookies from sites. 


Chrome: If you use Chrome then go to the spanner menu, go to Options, Under the Hood tab, click Content Settings, and then select radio = Allow local data to be set. Please also uncheck "Block all third-party cookies". If you do block cookies from sites, then please allow GoPetition as an exception. 


After you have adjusted your browser settings to allow cookies please reload our "Join Now" or "Start" page. You can reload by hitting ctrl + f5. GoPetition requires cookies to be activated for several processes. You should also carefully make sure that your proposed password is entered correctly twice in the relevant fields. If you continue to have difficulty signing up (joining), please contact us with your question.
